I just want to let everyone know about two excellent Realtors we've used for our own home purchase and for my mom's condo purchase- Bill Ager, who is also an attorney, and his wife, Barbara, who is an accredited buyers representative.

We've delt with many other Realtors and don't have much positive to report about our experiences. But Bill and Barb were terrific. From the start, they actually listened to what we were looking for in a house and respected our budget. The others kept swamping us with listings that bore no resemblance to what we wanted-both in attributes and location. When we first started looking for a home, they were very patient with us and took us out for several very long days before we found something we were interested in. Bill and Barb never pressured us and just listened to our reactions and kept searching for us. Bill was great about helping us through the final negotiations, the inspection and all the other steps getting to the actual closing which he attended with us. And I kept him busy with plenty of questions and glitches. The same with my mother's condo purchase and here patience was even more called for because my mother needed constant hand-holding, having never purchased a home in her life and being in her 70s. Bill has also been there to help even after the sales with questions that have come up and with issues around renting my mom's condo. Bill never got flustered and was really a calm, reassuring presence. A true gentleman and person of integrity.

I'm still knee deep in packing boxes and forwarded mail or I would have sent this to you sooner. Since my move, I've discovered some delightful neighbors, and an even more delightful neighborhood and finally (thankfully) a true sense of "home". Of course, none of this would have come to pass without the supurb effort you expended to help me find a place to live. I don't think a first-time home buyer could have had a better team than you two.

From my first meeting with you, I knew I had your collective knowledge and advocacy to rely on and that meant a great deal to me. When you are navigating a strange path for the first time, it is deeply reassuring to know that your guides are seasoned professionals who can spot potential obstacles and to act to ensure that you make your way, relatively unscathed, to your very own front door. And so I have.

Bill and Barb Ager are by far one of the most professional and dedicated teams we have had the pleasure to work with. We have bought and sold several homes in the Ann Arbor and Dexter areas over the years. As we were somewhat tentative sellers, Bill and Barb were most patient with us and with their presentations and there was no pressure on us to sign a listing agreement until we were completely ready. They also provided a detailed review of all homes that had sold in our area over the last year so that we could list our home for the best price.
